IT Works Administers Tests for "Potensyal" Participants

Some of the participants from “Potensyal” program try out last October 2006 the Internet and Computing Benchmark assessments at the Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila.

Potensyal is an initiative launched by Microsoft Philippines through its Partners in Learning (PiL) program to support the Schools First Initiative of the Department of Education.

The Internet & Computing Benchmark is designed by Certiport to assess the skill level of participants. This powerful new tool enables educators to identify the level of digital literacy in individuals, develop effective training programs, evaluate and demonstrate the success of those programs and fully prepare people to excel in their lives through the efficient use of technology.
